The first ever online pet and
people weddings?
So you adore your pet, consult him when channel switching and give
him fresh fish every Sunday. But if you really love him and you're
in this for life,
Isn't it time you married your pet?
Weddings are awful. Vulgar hats, expensive presents, and before
you can say 'Must we really have your mother over again?' you're
dividing up the record collection.
But have you considered that your soul mate might already be
curled upon your lap. Pets are great; pets are 100% unconditional
love. Yep, you can look like the back end of a bus, have halitosis
and herpes, but your pet will always adore you.* Friends let you
down, friends always want their choice of TV, but furry ones
don't. They don't care about your facial hair and they never leave
their dirty underwear around. Cat hair in your dinner - who cares?
Visit www.marryyourpet.com, and marry your favourite pet online.
And it doesn't matter if you're besotted with your dog, stick
insect, or budgerigar. If you love it we'll marry it.
Of course, it's not easy figuring out if you've found your soul
mate. Do you like the same music? Do you both want that little
house in the country? Adrian Knows. Visit our online agony aunt
and he'll help you decide whether your pet is the one.
This was the press release by Domininque, a Brit living in
Netherlands who set up
www.marryyourpet.com
These couples got married and are as happy as Larry.

Domininque told me "I'm pretty dotty about animals. I have two
cats, both of whom were abused when younger. They're never far
from my mind and I try to do nice things for/with animals when I
can. The idea itself just popped into my head when I was shopping
or something, I wasn't thinking about animals or anything
particular at the time", then went on to say "Basically I think
that society is changing and as people become increasingly selfish
and have so much more choice, our relationships are worsening and
divorce is rife. However our relationship with our animals hasn't
really changed and some people have a huge bond with them that
outlasts all their relationships. Some people simply find animals
easier to get on with than people. I thought it would be fun to
give people a chance to recognise this bond and finally it's fun
and I just think it's nice to give people a bit of a smile.
Reality is just so incredibly dull, and that was why I decided to
set up the site."
The site also boast wedding links for gifts and other stuff as
well as an "Ask Adrian" section which answers some questions from
the unsure.
All in all, it's a fun site with a serious side...... For that
real commitment, should we be marrying out pets?
