Those looking to learn a little more about behavioural training for dogs may wish to attend an upcoming event. Battersea Old Windsor is holding an Open Day and Fun Dog Show on Saturday (June 26th 2010), where experts will be on hand to offer tips on the best ways to carry out dog training. Alongside the serious sessions, there will also be a number of fun events, including a Waggiest Tail contest and Temptation Alley, a game which sees pooches tackle an assault course. Timed races, fancy dress competitions and obedience contests are also set to take place. The event, which is being held to commemorate Battersea Dogs & Cats Home's 150th anniversary, will be a "fun day out for all the family", according to organisers. Earlier this month, the charity launched a campaign to find homes for a litter of kittens. It named the cute felines after members of England's World Cup squad to drum up support from soccer supporters. Information on behavioural training can be found here |
