How Do I Stop My Dog From Pulling On The Lead? Certainly not with a choke chain. There is no substitute for good training from as soon as you get your dog and I would recommend attending classes to get help to start with. There are several training aids on the market in the shape of dog halters and special harnesses and along with patience and consistent training they can be very useful but are rarely totally effective alone. One of the best products known to date for help with training your dog to stop pulling on the lead is the Canny Collar which is available from the K9 Capers Store.
Choke
chains can be very cruel cruel as they restrict the dogs airway. At K9 Capers we
believe in training with reward not punishment. Choke chains rarely stop a dog
pulling and over time do terrible damage to the dogs throat, I might add that
